At Apple’s Wonderlust event on September 12, the tech giant unveiled its latest lineup of iPhones, the iPhone 15 series. This series includes four models:

Release Date:
You can start pre-ordering these new iPhones on Apple’s website at 5:00 a.m. PDT this Friday (September 15), and they will officially hit stores on September 22.
Design:
The iPhone 15 series boasts some design refinements from the previous generation. Notably, they feature slightly curved back edges for improved ergonomics. The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models introduce an “industry-first color-infused back glass with a stunning, textured matte finish.” Additionally, all models now feature the Dynamic Island, previously exclusive to the Pro series. Color options include black, blue, green, yellow, and pink for the iPhone 15.
The Pro models have several physical upgrades, such as replacing the mute switch with an Action button that can be customized for various functions. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are also constructed from titanium, providing a better strength-to-weight ratio compared to stainless steel.

The iPhone 15 Pro comes in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium.
eSIM Support:
In the U.S., all models offer dual eSIM support, eliminating the physical SIM slot. However, U.K. customers will have physical nano-SIM slots but can only use one eSIM with a SIM card inserted.
New Features:
The new iPhones bring several noteworthy features. They include USB-C for enhanced charging convenience and the expanded functionality of the Dynamic Island. Notably, these phones support reverse charging, allowing you to charge Apple Watch or 2nd-gen AirPods Pro by connecting them to your iPhone.
